Taste Of The Island

Sri Lanka boasts an extremely colourful and diverse food culture which we have fully embraced and want to share with you. We have hand chosen local eateries to explore street food and our local cooks will produce hand made dishes which will be nothing short of taste explosions!

Breakfast
Your breakfasts in the villa will be fruit based and sourced from the local market which you will have a chance to visit yourself.

Lunch
Lunches will be made by the very family who own the villa and who have been cooking organically for years before the movement became popular amongst tourists.

Dinner
Your stay with us takes some you on a food lovers adventure into the world of street food and local restaurants that we have personally sourced very slowly over five years.

Accommodation Details

The lodge is rustic, traditional villette in Hiriketiya. Rooms are naturally cool without air conditioning because we have chosen to reduce power consumption wherever we can.

Activities
  • Daily surfing with our local surf teachers on Hiriketiya beach. All levels welcome.if you are intermediate to advanced then Midigama breaks are for you.
  • A traditional cookery class
  • Teaching English at a local primary school
